2021 Nissan Rogue Awards | Galesburg, IL

The Nissan Rogue is a top-seller model for Nissan thanks to its sleek design, sporty performance, well-equipped interior, and advanced technologies. Drivers and critics alike have fallen in love with the small SUV. Here is a closer look at a few of the awards the Nissan Rogue has earned.

2021 AutoPacific Vehicle Satisfaction Awards

In the AutoPacific Vehicle Satisfaction Awards, the 2021 Nissan Rogue was named the Most Satisfying Mid-Size Crossover SUV. This is the second time the Rogue took home this honor. The Rogue won favor with the judges thanks to its innovative safety technologies including the ProPILOT Assist system, long list of standard features, and bevy of available amenities.

“Instead of betting on individual attributes to pull in satisfied buyers, the Rogue delivers a wide range of satisfying features from its roomy cabin and cavernous cargo area, to sharp looks, available all wheel drive, and standard safety tech,” according to the VSA judges.

PARENTS Best Family Cars 2021

Families on the go prioritize safety, comfort, and space for their drives, and the 2021 Nissan Rogue checks all the boxes. It earned PARENTS Magazine’s Best Redesign award in the pub’s review of the Best Family Cars of 2021.

“The Rogue has upped its game, increasing the horsepower of its engine and its gas mileage. The handling also improved over the previous Gen thanks to an updated platform and chassis,” according to Karen Cicero, writer for Parents.com.

The pub’s judges were particularly impressed with the SUV’s ability to open its rear doors to almost 90 degrees, calling it a “wow factor.” This feature is exceptionally useful for installing car seats or when traveling with extended family like grandparents.

IIHS TOP SAFETY PICK+

Nissan continues to raise the bar on safety technologies and features, and it shows in the Rogue. The 2021 Nissan Rogue was one of the automaker’s models to earn a TOP SAFETY PICK+ designation from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. This is the highest ranking available from the IIHS. To earn the highest rating, the Rogue scored “Good” in six tests that evaluate how the SUV would perform in a crash.

The tests are small overlap front: driver-side, small overlap front: passenger-side, moderate overlap front, side, roof strength, and head restraints and seats. The Rogue earned a “Superior” score for its standard front crash prevention systems for both vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-pedestrian variants. The SUV’s headlights earned a score of “Good.”

Consumer Guide Automotive Best Buy

In the Compact Crossover category, the 2021 Nissan Rogue reigned supreme in the 2021 Automotive Best Buy Awards from Consumer Guide®. This is the seventh year in a row that the Nissan Rogue earned the title. To earn Best Buy status, the Rogue had to deliver a “good dollar value,” an impressive balance of price and features. With the “most standard safety technologies in its class,” the Nissan Rogue stood out among its competitors in Consumer Guide’s® race.[1] The 2021 Rogue offers Safety Shield® 360 as standard equipment, which includes six driver assist technologies including Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Blind Spot Warning, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.

Cars.com 2021 Compact SUV Challenge

The 2021 Nissan Rogue bested several competitors to win the 2021 Compact SUV Challenge from Cars.com. The redesigned Rogue won favor with the judges thanks to its sophisticated interior, smart storage solutions, premium materials, and comfort amenities that cater to passengers in the backseat. The SUV also prevailed in the vehicle user interface and multimedia categories. The 2021 Rogue was praised for its wireless Apple CarPlay® capability, USB Type A and USB Type C ports, and large center console.
